Kinja'd!!!

Look at it isn’t the Peugeot RCZ-R awesome, saw a non R model this morning. Why do I like it:

Quirky-ness

French-ness

Double Bubble Roof

Copper coloured roof pillars

Why I don’t like it:

Previous 308 platform which is kinda meh

The nose is kinda weird

Still would buy one if I had the money

Kinja'd!!!

I mean look at it!!

I preferred the earlier front end to the current one.

The old 308 platform was indeed meh, but I’ve still heard plenty of praise for how the RCZ-R drives.

Fully agree, but a current 308 based nose would be even better.(could be biased since we have one at home)

A colleague bought a 308 last month (ex demonstrator). Nice looking car and she likes it though there is a fault with the wipers it’s been in with three times (they thought it was the sensor and replaced it twice). Apparently if the fault persists they are going to replace the windscreen to see if that does anything. But ye’, it does look good.

Was hoping I could try one a while ago, but the dealership didn’t have one anymore sadly.

Yeah, I’ve heard there are ones with problems. From what I’ve heard most ones with problems, take a while to solve.

Yes, they’ve been dropped and won’t be replaced. Coupés tend to sell for only two years and that’s not enough.

A dealer near me has a 2013 (?) one for something like €29,000 but no thanks.

Yeah knew that, but was hoping op a used one I could trick them into believing I wanted to buy, just to try it for shifts and giggles.

Wow €29 k is quite a lot.

A CO2 based registration tax will do that for you. I’m guessing they would have been around €40,000 new.

Hadn’t checked yet, but they seem to do similar money here in the Netherlands, probably due to the same reason. Lots of shitty taxes here too.

They are quite loyal to the brand as they’ve had a few over the years and the dealership is sorting them out and looking after them.

It’s like a French Audi TT that’s more bangable.

A shame you have to wait until 2034 for the first ones to be 25 year old, in the meantime us Europeans will keep them warm for you.

I would import it as wall art.... And then buy an Audi TT and use that info to drive it around. It just has a body kit officer....
